My wife refuses to get hearing aids even though she can barely hear me or other people. She says that her hearing loss is not so bad and she can hear everyone and that I'm just not talking up. I'm so angry at her that I don't even want to speak to her at all. She is so stuborn. What can I do?

So????

After reading your story which interested me Ilene I wondered if your relationship with George improved after he was helped by the new hearing aid?
I find that I cut down my communication with people who have trouble hearing me speak. I talk softly and feel tension when I have to raise my voice.
However, in my job as a therapist I shift my volume and get used to talking louder as I am so focused on the client's need.
I noticed this when my next client arrived and I realized I was shouting at them.
I like your website.
