I've been researching telephones for my husband. His hearing loss is at the higher frequencies so just having a phone that raises the volume is useless for him. I've sent 2 phones back that I ordered on-line that didn't help
Any help with this.

Has anyone heard of the "Open Fit" Hearing Aid? It is billed as a new type of hearing aid that doesn't require a full ear mold and fills the entire ear canal. The battery and "controls" are attached and sit behind the ear. Has anyone worn one? Any comments? Thank you.

I was told that the nerves in the ear atrophy when you stop wearing your hearing aids for long periods of time. Is this correct?

There has been a concern about the terrible spelling on close-captioning television. Any thoughts about how we can collectively try to change this?

I don't know what to do. This sound is driving me crazy. Does anyone know about this? Please help.
